Keynope is built to create presentations, not profiles. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking.

No profiling or tracking
Keynope contains no accounts, advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracking technologies, or third-party analytics SDKs. Keynope does not build profiles or sell or share participant responses.
Your presentations stay local
Presentations, speaker notes, embedded images, settings, and exports remain on your Mac in locations you choose. Keynope does not upload deck content when you run a live activity; only that activity’s prompt, choices, participant names, and submitted responses are shared with its temporary room.
System permissions
Keynope accesses files only when you create, open, import, export, or save a presentation. Screen Recording is used only when you deliberately present or share a screen, window, or application. Screen content is processed locally and is not retained or transmitted by Keynope.
Live activities
When a presenter opens a live activity, Keynope creates a signed, temporary public room addressed by a random eight-character code. Participants choose a display name, which the browser remembers locally together with a generated signing key. Activity prompts, display names, votes, ideas, and card placements are stored in that room so live results can be shown. Rooms expire after 24 hours of inactivity. Responses are not written into the presentation deck. Do not submit confidential information to a live activity.
Website and render API
The Keynope website uses no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. When you deliberately submit Markdown to the public render API, it is processed only to return the rendered presentation.
External services
Links you choose to open may take you to third-party websites governed by their own privacy policies. Keynope is not responsible for the privacy practices of those external services.
Changes and contact
If Keynope’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated before those changes take effect. Questions can be raised through the Keynope issue tracker or through Dennis Vink’s website.
